Reporting to: Production Engineering & Quality Manager
Job role and purpose:
Unified Production & Logistics (UPL) provides secure, cost-efficient, and environmentally responsible solutions for all customers in LCM and LCS businesses. The goal is to deliver quality services on time, while adhering to national regulations, group policies, and industry best practices.
The Media Sanitization Lead is responsible for developing, maintaining, and scaling media sanitization & production tools capabilities. This role ensures secure, compliant, sanitization of returned devices while also driving the development of new media sanitization products and innovative solutions aligned with evolving business needs, market standards, and technological advancements. Media Sanitization Lead also supports Joint Venture (between 3stepIT and BNP Paribas) and external customers when we deliver services, remote and in their environment.
Main responsibilities & tasks:
Own and continuously develop the end-to-end media sanitization portfolio, while actively identifying, evaluating, and introducing new hardware, software, and workflow solutions that meet customer and business needs.
Proactively plan and optimize sanitization capacity, tooling, and technical setup
Ensure alignment with media sanitization standards and industry best practices
Reduce warehouse stock of non-sanitized devices
Enable faster refurbishment cycles and maximize remarketing value
Identify and lead innovative initiatives within media sanitization and new technologies (software & products)
Drive development and implementation of new media sanitization products and services
Drive cross-functional initiatives with stakeholders to evaluate and implement new solutions
Support expansion into new business lines by adapting sanitization solutions & products to different product types
Provide support to production sites in resolving complex sanitization issues and contribute to sales cases as needed
New center, set-up and implementation
Any additional tasks or duties in UPL defined by the employer
Qualifications and experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience in information security
Experience with security controls, incident handling, and support
Familiarity with ISO 27001 (or similar frameworks) and regulations (e.g., GDPR, NIS2)
Understanding of basic application security and software development practices
Experience with security tools/vendors is a plus
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, Azure, AWS) are an advantage
Skills & Competencies:
Strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset
Ability to assess risks, solve problems, and prioritize effectively
High integrity and ability to handle confidential information
Comfortable working in complex, changing environments
Proactive, solution-focused, and eager to learn
Fluent in Swedish or Finnish and English
Willingness to travel and work on-site when needed
Please note that the person selected for this role needs to pass the Finnish security clearance (perusmuotoinen turvallisuus-selvitys) OR a criminal record check in Sweden prior to any employment offer.
